Found an unusual rock pile

While exploring the woods in Danbury I spotted a large boulder with a stack of flat rocks up against it. Not sure why the pile was there. If it was part of shelter or if something might be buried there. A pine tree at least 40 years old is on top of this pile. I took some pictures and will try to post them soon. I have just started to explore the area and am hoping to find some more interesting things out there.
