A few years ago my cat disappeared and I assume that he was probably killed by a fox or something. After he went missing I would still hear him. He use to jump off the furniture and make a loud thump because he was a fat cat. He was a real life Garfield. I would hear him scratching at the door to come in and hear him meow. It was like his spirit was continuing to do what he normally did. This went on for a long time after he disappeared. I haven't noticed as much activity lately. However just a couple of days ago my wife saw the cat clearly. He was just sitting on the floor with his front paws tucked underneath him as he use to do. So apparently he is still hanging out.
