Why A Bear?

A Bear is Strong, as we need to be. A Bear is inquisitive. We also seek to find the unknown. A Bear has the ability to find things using its powerful sense of smell. We also must use our senses to find things, whether it be our eyes; our minds or our equipment to guide us. A Bear has the hunger that drives them. We also are hungry to find the knowledge & treasures we seek

There are different stories for the bear as a Animal Symbol, and there is a special meaning throughout all. The bear stands for courage, strength, protection and life. . There are several different legends that surround the bear, and many of these stories were passed down from one generation to the next. Each story holds its own special meaning.
